ECO HOUSE

These are computer generated images of the house I am currently building for Sally and I on land adjacent to our current house in Gosport Hampshire.

A Self Build Project, I have designed this house and started construction with excavation for the basement in July 2005.  The basement is constructed with insulated polystyrene permanent formwork filled with concrete. The upper stories are constructed with highly insulated timber frame an roof. The property in intended to be Carbon Neutral and will provide us with a modern, spacious and economical house for the foreseeable future once complete.

I am building this in my spare time and therefore completion is not due until 2012 (fingers crossed).
